Datalogic Magellan 9922 Scanner Scale Compatibility With Clover POS
We currently have access to a Datalogic Magellan 9922 scanner/scale and would like to confirm whether this unit can be used with Clover POS. Additionally, we want to understand if CSI Works applications such as Variable Price Barcode Parser or Weight Embedded Barcode Parser can enable compatibility with this scanner/scale setup.

The Datalogic Magellan 9922 scanner scale is not compatible with Clover POS, and it cannot be connected or supported in a functional way.
The Magellan 9922 is a scanner/scale combination device that must be physically connected to the POS system in order to operate as both a scanner and a scale. Clover POS does not allow physical integration of third-party scanner/scale combination units like the Magellan 9922. Because of this limitation, Clover will not recognize the device as a scale or as a supported scanner.
CSI Works applications such as Variable Price Barcode Parser and Weight Embedded Barcode Parser are intended for label-printing scales only. These applications do not create a physical connection between a scale and Clover POS. Instead, they enable Clover to read and interpret price-embedded or weight-embedded barcodes printed on labels generated by compatible label printing scales. In these scenarios, the scale operates independently and is not directly connected to the Clover system.
Since the Datalogic Magellan 9922 requires a direct POS connection to function properly, it cannot be supported by Clover POS and cannot be made compatible through CSI Works applications.
