Follow these steps to ensure smooth integration:

1. Determine the Barcode Format Printed by the Scale

If the last digits in the barcode represent the total weight, use the Weight Embedded Barcode Parser.
If the last digits represent the total price, use the Variable Price Barcode Parser.

2. Setup for Weight-Embedded Barcodes

Install the Weight Embedded Barcode Parser from the Clover App Market.
On your Clover device, go to Device Settings → Accessibility, and enable the app.
In Clover Inventory, set your item’s price to "Per Unit". Use the first 6 digits of the barcode as the product code.

3. Setup for Price-Embedded Barcodes

Install the Variable Price Barcode Parser from the Clover App Market.
Go to Device Settings → Accessibility, and enable the app.
In Clover Inventory, set the item’s price type as "Variable", and again use the first 6 digits of the barcode as the product code.

Once configured properly, your CAS CL5500 series scale will work seamlessly with Clover POS, allowing you to scan barcodes and accurately pass weight or price into the register during checkout.
