  1. Identify the Barcode Format from the Scale

    • If the barcode’s last digits represent weight, install Weight Embedded Barcode Parser.
    • If the barcode’s last digits represent price, install Variable Price Barcode Parser

  1. Setup for Weight-Embedded Barcodes (Weight in the last digits of barcode)

    • Install Weight Embedded Barcode Parser.
    • Go to Device Settings → Accessibility and enable the app.
    • In Clover Inventory, set the item’s price as "Per Unit" and use the first 6 digits of the barcode
       as the product code.
            

  1. Setup for Price-Embedded Barcodes (Price in the last digits of barcode)

    • Install Variable Price Barcode Parser.
    • Go to Device Settings → Accessibility and enable the app.
    • In Clover Inventory, set the item’s price as "Variable" and use the first 6 digits of the barcode
       as the product code.
            

With the correct configuration, the CAS LP-1000 will integrate seamlessly with Clover, enabling merchants to scan barcodes and process transactions accurately.
