Product Described: Advanced Fees
A Clover POS agent reached out on behalf of a merchant with a very specific request: they want a way to manually apply multiple fees during a transaction, without having them triggered automatically. The idea is to have a dedicated button on the payment screen, allowing staff to select from a list of available fees at any point in the order process. The merchant is even willing to pay for this added feature.
Here’s the good news: Advanced Fees already supports similar functionality.
When the merchant reaches the payment screen, they will see a button labeled “Manage Fees”. By clicking this button, they can open a list of available fees and manually select which ones to apply to the current transaction—giving them full control over which fees are included before completing the sale.
This means:
Fees don’t have to be automated.
Merchants can pick and choose applicable fees at checkout.
The feature is already built in, no extra customization or development is required.
