Thrift Store evaluating disocunting capabilities by Mix or Match or Combo

Thrift Store Merchant: We have a Clover Mini and we use it for a non-profit thrift store.
We only use a few Categories and due to the variety of items we receive
and then sell, we do not track inventories, nor use any type of modifiers.
For example, we have a Category called “Clothing” and we use that same
Category for all clothing regardless of whether it is mens, womens, childrens,
shirts, pants, etc.
Once we select the Category, we enter the item price
and then quantity at that price. If we are running a special on that entire
category, like we regularly do, we have to remember to apply the discount on
each individual line using that category.
We are looking for an app that will allow us to apply the discount at the Order level and then everything rung-up under that Category would be automatically reduced. This could either be a pre-order applied discount or a post-order applied discount, the main thing we are looking for is to reduce the number of times our cashiers are required to remember to apply a discount.
The Mix or Match app looks like it might work so can you confirm that this is true?
Also, can you let me know how much the app costs?

Thrift Store Merchant: We currently have a subscription with Clover that does not
give us the ability to add items under categories. Just want to confirm,
we would have to have that functionality with Clover in order to create a
discount for sub-parts of a category. Right? For example, we have a top level category of Clothing.
We always have some clothes that are 25% off, some that are 50% off, some
that are 75% off and some that are full price. Without having items or
sub-categories under the main category, is there a way to create 3 discounts
for one category?

sure most of this confusion is my terminology. I am not well versed in
Clover lingo. We are a ministry thrift store and every penny we make goes
toward helping hurting women and their children, so we try to run the business
as lean as possible. We have been running the Clover system pretty much
just with the base system, however the discount process with the built-in
system is quite cumbersome. Hence why we are looking at your product. This
is what our main screen looks like. Each of these is what I’m calling
categories.
We do not have the ability to add anything “under” a top category. For example, we’d like “Accessories” to be a subcategory of “Clothing” but we cannot add anything under “Clothing”. Once we click on any of these categories, we are prompted to enter the quantity and the price.
Are
these items or are these categories?
